What is Kundalini Yoga?

Kundalini Yoga is the Yoga of awareness. In this experience you find that Yoga is a relationship, a union where individual consciousness meet universal consciousness.

You lean on the infinite until you merge the self with the universal self. You get to know your true identity as you open up to your own creative wealth, your depth and your potential as a human being. Kundalini Yoga is like taking a jet plane, instead of walking, in terms of reaching higher fields of consciousness and your soul will love the depth of the ride!

Benefits of Kundalini Yoga

Kundalini Yoga enhances health and happiness, gives you a strong core, cleanses the organs and tissues of the body, promotes circulation of fluids and glands, purifies the blood, increases strength and flexibility, strengthens the nervous system, digestive system, and the immune system, expands lung capacity, releases stress and balances the body, mind and soul connection. Kundalini Yoga also works on developing intuition and a meditative mind.

Kundalini Yoga and Meditation Classes

Students will tune in, practice a Kundalini yoga kriya as taught by Yogi Bhajan, which entails physical postures, movement, stretching, breath work, mantras and meditation, and finally, lay down for deep relaxation while the teacher plays the gong and/or the bowls.

Meditation Classes

In meditation class, students will do a different combinations of meditation practices to deepen their experience and growth in the practice. They will consist of breathing exercises, chanting of mantras, meditation kriyas, Yoga Nidra, meditation, and restorative Yoga positions to enable the student to let go and deeply relax.
